●Hairstyle
The fashioning of hair can be thought of an aspect of personal grooming, fashion, and cosmetics, although practical considerations and various subcultures can also influence hairstyles.
Elegant hairstyles are usually more important than one gives praise to.In point of fact,an elegant hairstyle does more than give a neat and groomed appearance. It is beneficial for shaping your face and helping your communication skills.
Just like not every clean face can be described as a groomed face, not every hairstyle can show the elegant.Sometimes no matter, how you dress or speak or carry yourself,if your hair is wild or just unsuitable for your personality,it can damage your overall elegant look.People’s impression of you can be influenced by your hairstyle.
Just an immediate example,we quickly judge people’s class by the hairstyle. Now imagine what kind of hair of a few people examples below: a rock star; a criminal; a queen; a princess; a tattoo artist; a ballerina; a cheerleader. We think in no doubt you all have stereotype images. It is entirely accepted to stereotype.
Regardless of how elegant your dress is,blond roots will damage your look if you show it from your dark hair. And if you showed up to a party with greasy flat hair, you might look simple and washed out.
We should remember that not every hairstyle shows elegant. So what can we do to achieve elegant hairstyles? It requires a little thought and initial effort.
It is not natural and easy to get a clean, neat, flattering elegant hairstyle (at least for some of us anyway).Ladies can make choices which are determined by your face shape and the kind of lifestyle you have from more than several elegant hairstyles.
■Your Face Shape
Normally,if you have an oval face, you can choose most hairstyles.
If your face shape is round, you may try side bangs or a step layer around the sides of your hair to give an oval illusion.
If you have a square face, you’d better choose a shorter hairstyle and remain some hair around your cheeks to shape your face.
If your face is heart-shaped,do not tie your hair all the way back, play around with soft tresses to balance out the lower half of your face to your top half.
There are many other unclearly defined types of faces. For example, some people having a very high forehead, looks very attractive in a certain elegant hairstyle, and others, not so.
Your hair style can also dramatically influence the shape of your eyes: far apart,a little close to each other, droopy, slanted, etc.
Your hair style can also drastically influence cheekbones. One time a lady suddenly show her very gorgeous cheekbones just because she cut straight bangs!
Whatever weight you are at the moment also affects your best hairstyle choice.Whether you are too thin or slightly overweight affects not only your hairstyle choice but also your overall body shape.
When you choose an elegant hairstyle, you must consider all these factors and not just your face shape. The keys to having “elegant hair” are that finding a hairstyle that suits you and that you are comfortable with (and lastly something that you can replicate and maintain).
■Your Lifestyle
If you have enough leisure time,it is thus acceptable to have a higher maintenance hairstyle which includes having a whole special color to your natural color, highlights, short bangs or layers, permed or curled hair.
If you do not have much leisure time,we advise you not to get your hair colored more than two shades, lighter or darker. If you find your having no time to get to the hair salon or spend a couple of hours doing it at home, you’ll perhaps be able to get away with it.Just leave your fringe long and layer your hair. You’ll be capable of doing very special looks for each season with relative ease.
It is said that simplicity is the best. There are a few classically elegant styles:
◆ A Mid to High Ponytail
A very graceful and attractive look for casual to semi-casual day time look.It is suitable for almost everything.
◆ Elegant Chignon
The chignon is a classic updo that can be worn for formal or informal occasions.A simple and elegant style, the “chignon” comes from a French phrase meaning “nape of the neck”.A chignon is best understood, not as a single style, but as a family of hairstyles, all characterized by the up-sweep and pinning of hair that has been gathered at the nape of the neck.
“French roll”,“hair knot”,and “bun” are all different names for types of chignons.Once you have learned the basics, you will discover how different accessories, products, and techniques can take your chignon from the office to the gym to a night on the town.
◆ A Poufy Top
Using a barrette or pins for your long fringe pulled back or by back combing your hair with hairspray to comb it in.A hair band can also achieve it.You can either make it up like chignon or tie it with a pony tail.It is very well-groomed looks less sloppy than a ponytail which at times can be if you have layered hair.
◆ A Half Ponytail Worn at the Top of Your Head
A feminine and graceful look going with dresses and is neater than letting all your hair down.In very professional situations,it is a no-no to let your hair down (though we must say for the smaller companies, the standards have slackened). This is a very smart substitute to get the clean and clear face look without looking too ruthless.
◆ A Simple Hair Band
The hair band has the use for pushing your hair off your face in a tidy manner.Brushing your hair and wearing your hair band only take you a minute. You can even use it with your ponytail. What a classic look! It is very useful especially when you are running short of time.
The principles or grace are also applied to hair.Clean, neat, without dandruff; always in place, never too short,or too long (especially if you aren’t that young anymore).Your hair should never cover your eyes or more than 20% of your face. And of course it should not cause you to toss or touch it when you speak.
Roots should be covered and tangles should be invisible, and it should not irritate you or someone else.It should not look ridiculous.
Never touch your hair or twirl your finger or check for split ends or try to smoothen out the tangles in your hair when you talk with someone!
